How to change the top widget (date, clock, weather)
Set what the strip above your app list shows using Widget Settings, Top Widget.
The strip that sits above your main app list is the Top Widget.
It is what shows the date, clock, or weather, and it is configured separately from the app list underneath it.
Choosing what the top widget shows
- Open Blank Spaces.
- Tap the paintbrush icon in the top right.
- Scroll to Widget Settings.
- Tap Top Widget.
- Select what you want it to display, such as Date.
Your choice appears above the main widget on your Home Screen. If the Home Screen still shows the old content, remove the widget and add it again so iOS picks up the change.
If the top widget looks wrong
Give it a moment to refresh. iOS controls how often widgets reload, so a change can take a short time to appear.
If the colour does not match the rest of your setup, the Top Widget follows the same colour settings as your other widgets. Adjust those under Widget Settings, then re-add the widget.
